Bowman, spouse of the Rev. Susan Bowman, died October 20. A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Union Avenue UMC, 1843 S Union Ave., Alliance, OH 44601. Rev. Paull served Bedford, Amherst Park Avenue, Pleasant Hills, Lakeside, New Philadelphia First and Akron Christ United Methodist churches before retiring in 2003.

Purchase is survived by son Thomas Purchase III, daughter Adrienne Gonzales, and one granddaughter. Rev. John H. Landrum served Cleveland Bay, Chagrin Falls, Pleasant Hills, Ashland Christ, and Epworth-Euclid UMCs. Rev. Neth served Columbia Station, Brooklyn Memorial, and West Salem/Crawford Corners UMCs. Rev. Teter is survived by his wife the Rev. K. Jean Teter, son Ken Teter, daughter Lori Sanders, son Kevin Teter, son David Ford, and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Milligan was preceded in death by her husband the Rev. Harry H. Milligan. She is survived by son Tom Milligan, son Jeffery Milligan, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Rev. Schurman is survived by his wife Edna Anne, daughter Vicki Thiele, daughter Marcia Schurman, daughter Sherri Godsby, son Gordon Schurman, 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Rev. Dearth is survived by his wife Carol, son Jack Jr. , son Timothy , son Stephen , daughter Dorothy, son Phillip, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Before retiring from the East Ohio Conference in 1995, Rev. Dr. Hubler served at Bennetts Corners, Boardman, Solon, Bellevue, Poland, and Bay UM churches, and as Akron District Superintendent.

A private grave-side service was held for immediate family on January 2 in the Brandon United Methodist Cemetery. Pastor Warren was appointed to Conesville and New Moscow United Methodist churches at the time of his passing. He had previously served at Batemantown, Berlin, Midvale, Newport, and Nashville. Dessie V. Essex,surviving spouse of the Rev. Otis Essex, died April 12. The ideal candidate would be a family man with at least five years experience as a gospel preacher.
A funeral service was held on March 29, 2021 at Smithville UMC. Gene Cheney, surviving spouse of the Rev. Richard G. Cheney, died June 20. A private family graveside service was held at Union Cemetery. Rev. Yody served Red Haw, Norwich, Salem, Sonora, and Hathaway United Methodist churches before retiring from the East Ohio Conference in 2008. Rev. Weaver served Sandyville/Asbury and Crestline United Methodist churches before retiring from the East Ohio Conference in 1986. Rev. James Wiebrecht served Rocky River, Mogadore, Ashland Emmanuel, Wintersville, and McDonaldsville St. Paul United Methodist churches before retiring from the East Ohio Conference in 1998.
Although small, it has direct access to swimming holes, kayaking, and fishing. The great school district offers an excellent education with a small town feel. Christoval is also 15 minutes away from San Angelo, a city of over 100k people offering work and recreation for the outlying communities like Christoval.

Funeral services were held November 5, in the Denzer Chapel of Snyder Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Gebbie served Pearl Road, Maple Heights, Bridgeport First, and Lansing United Methodist churches before retiring from the East Ohio Conference in 2014.
